Idolmaster: Xenoglossia (アイドルマスター XENOGLOSSIA, Aidorumasuta: Xenoglossia) is an spin-off anime television series, produced by anime company Sunrise based off of THE iDOLM@STER, and is directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai. It began airing in Japan on April 3, 2007 on Kansai TV along with being streamed online on @nifty. The anime finished airing on September 24, 2007 with a total of 26 episodes. The anime is licensed by Sentai Filmworks for release in North America.

Plot

Haruka Amami isn't the most confident pop singer in Japan, but when she's accepted after an audition, she's sent to Tokyo to start a career in entertainment. Though, little does she know that the agency that's taken her on is actually a front for a task force that uses giant robots to defend the Earth from falling meteors.
